Scope of Work

Synergy will continually review the site for updates and will update as needed utilizing the process outlined below to ensure your website is running without issue.

• Perform a security check to verify the site has not been compromised

• Back up existing site to an offsite location

• Update WordPress system

• Update WordPress plugins

• QA testing to ensure updates did not break portions of the website

• Resolve any bugs or issues discovered during QA testing

• Backup updated site, replacing original backup file

• Make any technical updates and changes required by web host 

With this ongoing process of reviewing and updating the websites, this will keep the website from ever being outdated and vulnerable to attack.

• The program requires no contractual commitment. If you’re not happy with our service, you can cancel at the end of any quarter.

In rare occasions, a fully up-to-date site can still be hacked. This is called a zero-day exploit. In this case, having a backup of your website is key. With a backup, we can easily restore your site to its clean state and apply whatever fixes are recommended for the exploit*.

*Restoring a zero-day compromised website could come at an additional cost. Fixing this will typically take less than 1 hour with our maintenance plan in place (billed at $125/hr).
